She looks a lil' bit like a pumpkin.

Maybe it's just me.

Anywho...

Start Your Engines!

Seamus - Ok so this is the second photo I have posted of this fella and the second spelling variation I have given his name. I have some more pix stored if I get a hankering for a third go at the name. He is a super cute lil' 3 mo old that is being fostered with PitBull Rescue. I do not know if he is available yet but you should check out their site for lots o' cuties.

This Holiday Season is coming on like a Freight Train!
Maybe you could use some Fuzzle company on the trip.

There are so many great Adoption Groups in town that could use some volunteer value during this busy time.

Cuddle up to a Fuzzlish purpose!

Tango - This 6 year old romeo's gorgeous fall colored fur is just the beginning of his charmola. He merits a visit over to my buddies at the Rancho Coastal Humane Society. I think that they are about to do a major kitty Kastle home improvement project there. Stop by and get the deets.

If you have already started thinking about holiday gifts...

The PAWS Surf Dog Calendar is now available. Perfect holiday hello for those who enjoy the lighter side of fuzzles. Check it out [Link]

I was soooooo busy this weekend that I totally missed out on all Fuzzlish Events going on in our county. Booooo!

Muppet Madness

Kermit - I can't say enough good stuff about this guy. I guess I can sum it up by saying I wish I could have him for my own. Yes folks... I've got it bad 'cause our luv must be of the unrequited variety. I guess that makes me Miss Piggy. I could do worse.
Adopt him at PitBull Rescue San Diego

Am I My Fuzzle's Keeper?

Yeah Probably So...

So while we let swami Riri's lesson in tolerance sink in, let's pop over to a local story that shows a fuztastic implementation of care und concern -

Last weekend a local cbs news team followed the Give Some Life Foundation to their monthly spay & neuter-athon south of le border. On their event schedule it listed the locale as Erendia but I am not sure if that is acurate. I missed the segment when it first ran but was able to catch it at the News 8 Story & Video link.

I totally recommend checking it out. This group does a whole lot with a little (I think they were posting a total of aprox. 3500 pets spayed & neutered through their campaigns - at no charge) and I'm stoked see them gain reconocimiento for their work.

If y'all have some time or dinero adicional that you want to put toward their project, check out their website - Give Some Life Foundation.
The next campaign is on Nov. 5th

Fuz Fashion Harvest

San Diego Pretending that it is Autumn.

Perfect day for a Fall Fuzzle Fashion Bonanza...

But I slept in big time and missed all the Catwalk action!

I ran into young fuz Shamus. The 2.5 month old pupple was approaching the same Sunday Slumber Satisfaction that I had just shaken awake from. This lil' hyena is getting lotsa lovin's with his foster family but will be ready for permanent placement in about a month.
Adopt him at PitBull Rescue San Diego

Paws put together a nice event in a great location. There were still lots o' folks & fuzzles enjoying the San Diego skyline by the time that I mosied over to the Ferry Landing. If you did not have a chance to swing by,
Paws adoption tables are at the Ferry Landing Farmers Market from 2-4pm on the second Tuesday of every month. Check it out!

San Diego Spaniel Rescue had a booth with some seriously cute booth buddies!
If you are looking for a spaniel, try on Sar, Sir, or Trea for size. They were waggin' their wiggle bottoms the whole time that I watched their booth.

Peggy reminded me that theSan Diego Spaniel Rescue Paw Prints Photo Portrait Fundraiser was coming up soon. Spotlight Studios will be holding photo sessions for a very reasonable cost at The Original Paw Pleasers Bakery in North Park on Sunday October 22. Perfect for fuzzle holiday cards. Proceeds will go to the San Diego Spaniel Rescue. Check out the link or check for it in the Fuzzle Calendar.

Petey & Tawny from the Foundation for the Care of Indigent Animals group gave me a hearty hola from their spot. These guys are too cute!
Adopt them at FCIA

The Chihuahua Rescue group also participated in the festivities but I was too late to get pics of their fuzzles. If y'all need some Chi lovin' give them a buzz.
