Things that Go Thump in the Night...

Hooray for Fuzzy Friends!
This lil' lagomorph was fairly adorable in its photo shoot. Always remember that wee baby bun buns are loooooong term companions and should be adopted by folks that are ready for a companion that lives longer than you might think and needs lots o' lovin time. Remember that short term Easter Buns should only be made out of chocolate and marshmallow.
Adopt this wee one at Central Animal Services. [link]
Also make sure to check out our local House Rabbit Society! They have tons o' great info for the potential bunny family friends. [link] They also have lots o' cutey bun bun videos for a bunny viddy break. [link]
I met one other wee one at Central Animal Services that y'all should meet.

This ratoncito has unbelievably sweet niblet ears that you can whisper all your secrets into whilst perched on your shoulder. Adopt this wee one at Central Animal Services. [link]

San Diego Spay Neuter Action Project
An absolutely awesome group that definitely knows how to get the job done. They hold low cost mobile spay & neuter clinics all over town and have made a real difference in San Diego's pet overpopulation. So many future lives have been saved by this group already - they are a great team to add your volunteer time towards. They accept volunteers as young as 12 which is a great opportunity for altruistic youngsters and families that like to spend time together. Check out these links if you are interested in checking out what kind of assistance they can use...

Friends of Cats
This Shelter has been around for longer than many of us have been alive. The fantastic meowers that hang out here are great and their care takers are super too! As stated on their website - "Volunteers are the backbone of the Shelter and we are always seeking people to help with fundraising, publicity, painting and carpentry, grooming cats, and many other areas". They are located on Olde Hwy 80 in East El Cajon.
