Ok y'all
I thought I would take a quick moment to try something new.

#2 Most Excellent Kitty Toys...

So I was at Muttropolis the other day and the good folks there recommended the Kitty Cigar for my Kitty Buddy. They said it is one of their best sellers and now I know why. My cat is totally married to this thing now. He lurvs to come up and flop on it and cuddle it and lurv it all day long. Let the good times roll ! [link] (cigar photo from Muttropolis)

#3 The Walkies version of Surf n' Turf
So if you were having trouble deciding which type of stroll you would like to have - Just try moseying over to the Sea World Drive / Tecolote Road freeway exit off of the 5 freeway. If you turn towards Tecolote Road you are just a couple of blocks from the Tecolote Canyon Natural Park [link] and if you turn towards Sea World Drive you are just a stoplight or so away from Fiesta Island [link]. How can ya go wrong?

Crystal & Molly - An adorable bonded pair that I met the other week at North County Animal Services. They are a wee bit older (around 8 yrs old) so they might work as a cubby companion duo. Regardless you should check them out at San Diego Animal Services North. [link]
They are that perfect middle dog size - not too big, not too small.

In a Sentimental Mood [or] I think I've Seen You Before

Smokey - I have met this 8 year old doggy awhile ago and he is still hangin' out in the adoption zone. Not to say that I would not like to see him again but I think it is time for his ship to come in... Are your sails flying?

The cool thing about going up to the SDDAC North is that they are one of the few shelters in town where there are livestock style fuzzles around. I even met an emu once. They will have potbellied pigs, goats, horses, and all sorts of fuzzle fowl including the likes of...


Rocky - I met this chicken a bit ago also. If you were hankering for a new feathered friend you should check out the Rockster.

And lets not forget the wee ones. There tend to be some pretty interesting little fuzzles around at SDDAC North. Below is a picture of one that I met awhile ago. His name is Houdini because he had a way of showing up outside of his cage when everyone thought he was stuck inside. He has already found a home but there are many others ready for adoption.
