Eventathon...

So I have popped in on a couple of local events lately. First off there was the SD Humane Telethon. That seemed to go pretty well - they raised over $273,204 in one day!
I was hangin' out in their carnival zone takin' snaps of the participants.

There was also an Ugly Dog Contest at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. I had not gone to one before and it made for a mellow afternoon in the sun.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Rancho Coastal Humane Society Safehouse Program, Helen Woodward's Therapeutic Riding Program, and Friends of Del Mar Parks.
The Hands Down Ugly Dog Winner was...

Chompers!
He was super nice - quite a friendly buddy!
Everybody was making friends...

There are a bazillion pet related events happening through the Spring and Summer months in San Diego County.

Hopkins - ok this guy is straight up hilarious. non-stop entertainment was had while Hopkins had run of the floor. He is quite the looker too...
