Super-Fuz

So what kind O' fun can you do once you have adopted your doggy le fuz?

well...

If they like to get up n' go then I highly recommend the funtastic frenzy that can be had at San Diego's lure coursing group - Luratics [link]

Now you might be thinking - hey that's for sighthounds only!?!
But in this fair city all doggies get to have a go and let me tell ya, from what I have seen it does not matter how big ya are to have a rockin' run.

I think this mighty runner is about the size of 2 dandelions & was a rocket with fur attached!

If sighthounds Are your thing then maybe you should check out the statuesque loveliness found in...

Sable - this lovely lady is not even 2 years old yet. I rarely see adoptable Afghans around town and she is very sweet!
Adopt her at the Escondido Humane Society.

So anywhoooo. you may be wondering what it is that these doggies are running for.

They are chasing a wee plastic bag that zips around a low strung course at high speed.

It's super fun to watch and the event has a good vibe going on.

Speaking o' da good vibes...

Iris - This lovely beagle / pitbull mix is just a youngster and is looking for somebody to share her friendly festiveness with. Is it you?
Adopt her at the El Cajon Animal Shelter.

I swear that I want to put little super man capes on all of these dogs.
must restrain...

I did meet another super dog el otro día that may not be doing any major running about at the moment but will definitely chase after your heart (mega corny but I just can't help myself right now!)

Kodi - This 5 month old Lab / Akita mix showed up with a broken pelvis and a fractured rear leg. He has had surgery and is healing. Hooray!
Adopt him at the San Diego Humane Society.
